At 3 days old, Thermishaa was admitted in hospital with A liver and lung Infection as well as double pneumonia and yellow jaundice.  As the months passed, I found that Thermishaa was not developing and achieving the milestones for a growing baby. I thought it was due to her being born prematurely.

I gave her more time to achieve her milestones. However at 11 months when she could not sit or crawl I realized something was definitely wrong, I took her for a full medical examination. At which time Thermishaa was diagnosed with Cerebral palsy and cortical blindness.

Nothing will ever explain the pain I felt when I was told my baby would not be like every other child I see running around, playing, singing, dancing. I would give anything to swop places with my little girl.

We have come across a hospital called ADVANCELLS in India. Using stem cell therapy they help children with cerebral palsy lead a better life.

After contacting the doctors at Advancells they have checked Thermishaa is medical reports and have given me positive feedback on the treatment for Thermishaa, they have advised that €œwe can start as soon as possible €.

Due to Thermishaa being in and out off hospital and with her condition I had to resign from work to look after her.

Thermishaa is treatment will cost $8000 USD and thereafter $25 USD per session for the extra physio and speech therapy. She will require approximately 10 sessions. The flights and accommodation will be a further $7000 as we have to be at the treatment center for 6 weeks.

As a mother I am appealing for assistance in order to fit the medical bill to conduct this treatment for Thermishaa.
