Rudi suffered damage to his ribs, lungs, liver and 20cm of his colon had to be removed. The doctors have done a fantastic job thus far and are happy with the progress he is making, but even though his condition is improving he remains on life support in ICU in order to assist with his recovery. This afternoon his wife was informed that their medical aid has practically been depleted and if they cannot come up with enough funds soon that he will have to be transferred from the Mediclinic to a state hospital that could negatively affect his current recovery progress.
