Rhino Disharmony supports anti-poaching unitsCharity
Rhino Disharmony is a movement to create one global voice against rhino poaching. It was formed in 2014 by Motswari Private Game Reserve in collaboration with advertising agency Ogilvy Hearth. The campaign generates international awareness about rhino poaching through artistic creativity and events from renowned artists. Rhino Disharmony harnesses the power of social media and it currently has 19,000 followers on Facebook of which half are situated in Asia. The association aims to change the perception of the value of rhino horns.
Now Rhino Disharmony has decided to also initiate fundraising campaigns to support on the ground anti-poaching projects/causes/initiatives.
Our first call is to create a fund for the rangers of anti-poaching units. These men, wearing boots on the ground, in the heat around the clock, are risking their lives daily to help protect our precious rhinos. They are often called for several dangerous incursions per day.
The full amount raised will be used to purchase equipment that will be lent to an established anti-poaching unit in the greater Kruger conservation area, where these men are active.
Thank-you for your contribution, no matter how small or large, to our cause. Payments can be made from anywhere in the world via credit card through this secure website.
