Massive flooding in Kwazulu-Natal  South Africa, has claimed at least 60 lives after multiple structural collapses, and many more residents are still missing and buried under mud and debris.

Since the floods on Monday evening, more than 235 homes have been destroyed or damaged and more than 1000 individuals have been displaced forcing them to take refuge in community halls and churches.

As the global community we can come together to help at this critical time.

To support urgent relief efforts in the region, we have created this crowdfunding campaign to empower local and respected charity, The Gift of the Givers, the largest disaster response NGO of African origin on the African continent. They're on the ground now and in touch with where relief is needed the most.
