Help us Pay for Pilchuck!

TUT students, Katlego Takalo, Inga Lokwe and Moketsi Mangoejane need YOUR help to make the trip of a lifetime!

These talented students from the Tshwane University of Technology’s Glass Studio have been invited, alongside lecturers Caitlin Greenberg and Martli Vaandrager, to attend an international youth conference hosted by the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle, USA!

Founded in 1971, Pilchuck Glass School is the world’s largest and most comprehensive centre working in glass and this conference, titled ‘A sustainable future for glass 2023’ promises to be a life changing experience for its attendees.

TUT’s conference delegates have already received sponsorships from Pilchuck and TUT themselves as well as Smelt Glass Studio and Southern African Glass to be able to travel to the USA and attend the conference, but still need a few rands to cover visas, passports, pocket money and a few nights’ accommodation not included in the conference.

This is where YOU come in…

If 200 people each contribute only R100, our target of R20 000 will be met with ease.

If your small donation can ensure a BIG future for three talented South African artists, won’t you consider making one?
