HELP COACH LAURA GET TO FINA WORLD CHAMPS!!! Laura Started her synchronized swimming journey on the side of the pool watching her older sister desperately waiting for the day she could start synchro. 21 years later and she will be heading off to her last World champs in South Korea. Laura took on the challenge to finish one last World Champs in her career as an elite level synchro swimmer and boy has it been a challenge. With a full time job as a swimming coach, as most of you know her and see her on a regular basis for your daily dose of no pain no gain. It is difficult to fit in the required minimum of 3 hours of training a day but she manages running from the gym to her strength coach and the back to the gym for more lessons and then onto a swimming session or synchro session and then more coaching. She has decided to give this her last shot at aiming to achieve the best international score for their routines. It has become very stressful as the costs that she will incur to get to World champs is more than what she can afford and taking off 4 weeks of work in order to be with the team at the Hungarian open and then a training camp that follows in Slovakia before heading on to the World Champs in South Korea. It is too far in and too much hard work has been done to give up because of financial reasons. That is why we are calling all friends and family to donate anything to help Lau achieve her goals that she has worked so hard for.
