Gina Crous: If you can dream, you can do it - her life motto. On 20 July 2018, my mom was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. A month later she started chemotherapy. As part of her treatment it was planned that she would get targeted treatment for her liver (since the cancer has spread to a significant part of her liver), however her medical aid does not cover this treatment. The treatment costs on average R42-000 every 2 weeks. The purpose of this fund is to raise sufficient funds to enable her to get atleast 1 or 2 of these treatments. I can describe my mom in one word: FIGHTER! She gives so much of herself to others and devotes her life to making life easier for those around her. She loves in abundance. Her worth is immeasurable to us and so many others. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will go towards her fight against this evil we call Cancer.
