Children of Boucher House - December HolidayCharity
The Boucher House, in Monte Vista Cape Town, is a loving home to 8 foster children, of which 2 attend a special needs facility. There are 4 boys and 4 girls aged between 5 & 15 years. They have never been on a Christmas holiday together. Let’s make a beach holiday in Stilbaai a possibility! Accommodation has been offered, but we are in need of your kind donation that will be used for the following:
Rent and petrol for a mini-bus & trailer
Food and drinks
Entertainment (Breakfast on the way, lunch coming back , ice cream & pizza)
Kindly consider a small donation towards this holiday – the family will be making memories to treasure for years to come.
You are welcome to share the message with your family, friends and colleagues; follow us on Facebook and/or contact us on email@example.com.
Thank you sincerely for caring.
John and Joanne Schultz became foster parents to eight children earlier this year, when Elizma Boucher who started the Boucher Safe House passed away. Joanne has been involved with the children for a while and felt that she and John had an opportunity to use the time, treasure and talents that God had given them to make a difference in the lives of these children.
John & Joanne see the children as part of their family and will care for them as they did their own two children. Joanne says: “We want to empower them to become balanced, happy and functional members of society where they too can use the gifts and talents God has given them to make a difference in the lives of others.”
Boucher House is fortunate to have a caring non-profit committee and dedicated volunteers who support the couple.
